More information: My passion for helping postpartum families began with the birth of my son in 2001. After having a difficult time postpartum, it became my quest to assist families during their own fourth trimesters. I became certified as a Postpartum Doula through DONA in 2004 and certified as a Lactation Counselor through The Center for Breastfeeding in 2005. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child Care Management. I have assisted with over 35 babies to date. I am a member of the DONA Postpartum Doula certification committee and help certify doulas all over the continent.
